Blending the studio-as-instrument approach central to dub and the detailed, immersive sound world of electro-acoustic composition, Everywhere Curving is a record of detailed sound, hypnotic repetition and open space.

Everywhere Curving is based on sessions in Ambridge’s home studio, later edited down into 5 tracks. The live takes are patient and intuitive, the electronic percussion unfolds slowly creating an engrossing structure, making Everywhere Curving propulsive, meditative and deep.

Whilst this album is a fitting homage to the most repetitive and enveloping dub-techno records, Four-Footed have taken a microscope to beloved sounds and techniques. Four-Footed take great care handling sound - each electronic element is honed to its most minimal aspects, creating new forms for the genre.

Four-Footed have hollowed a new space for themselves in dance/not-dance music, with this quiet, deep album.

Recording as Four-Footed, the London-based duo of Ryan Ambridge and Tom Painter have been quietly collaborating for the last 10 years.

Having self-published two EPs of unorthodox dub-techno they are ready to present their first full-length release - Everywhere Curving - the debut release on After Season Recording.

Ryan has released music on Dark Entries as one half of Linea Aspera and explores post-punk, ambient and dub electronics with his long-running solo project, Lust Pattern.

As After Season, Tom is a regular contributor to Bristol-based Noods radio and ambient and electroacoustic musician
